The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice view from the balcony. The staff was helpful and friendly, always ready to assist us. The property had a beautiful lobby and swimming pool, which was a relief during the hot weather. the breakfast and dinner served were tasty and satisfying.
There was an issue with the water. It had a strange orange color and left stains on our hair.

Laura is an absolute gem, always there to assist with any information you need. The Jungle Leaf House is truly a hidden paradise with stunning attention to detail in its beautiful decor. The room was incredibly spacious and impeccably tidy. The swimming pool provided the perfect refreshment, and the homemade food was simply mouthwatering. We enjoyed exploring Kumana park and Peanut Farm Beach, both conveniently close by. With numerous restaurants, bars, and the Arugam Bay beach within walking distance, this guesthouse became our absolute favorite throughout our entire trip. We even extended our stay because we loved it so much. Laura, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly, arranging trips and recommending amazing eating spots. The rooms were always clean and spacious, and we never had to worry about hot water. The balcony was perfect for relaxation, and the covered terrace offered a delicious breakfast spread. The pool was a fantastic addition, and we were greeted warmly by the friendly dog and cat. This oasis, tucked away from the main road yet only a short stroll from the beach, provided a tranquil escape surrounded by palm trees and a refreshing breeze. The stylish and spacious room, complete with a fabulous bathroom and balcony, was a delight. The communal area was ideal for morning yoga organized by the fabulous host lala, who went above and beyond in organizing tuktuks, recommending restaurants, and suggesting must-see places. The breakfast at Jungle Leaf was by far the best we had, and the option to refill water bottles at a minimal cost played a part in reducing plastic waste on the beach. We can't recommend this place enough. The staff was incredible, with the owner ensuring your privacy while also being open to a friendly chat. The location was fantastic, tucked away for peace and seclusion, yet only a minute away from the bustling area. The presence of a pool added to the awesomeness, and the rooms were impeccable and spacious. We highly recommend this place, it surpassed all expectations.

I loved the fact that I could indulge in delicious vegan and gluten free meals at the on-site restaurant. The swimming pool and wooden deck sun terrace were perfect for basking in the jungle ambiance. Plus, the free WiFi kept me connected to the outside world, if I ever wanted to leave this paradise.
Oh, how I adored walking 2.4 km to visit Muhudu Maha Viharaya and 11 km to reach Magul Maha Viharaya. Such a convenient location!
